Smaller Projects

This page is for documenting some of the smaller projects I've done, usually various assignments.
You will be given a small look at some things I've made mostly during my time in school.
This section will be slightly less formal than the Major Projects section.

The Apple Game

Game type: Platformer
Production time: 4 Weeks
(23rd Sept - 18th Oct 2024)
Engine: Unity
School Assignment

My very first (video) game made at Futuregames.

Is it particularly impressive? No, it has a lot of issues in fact. (Just look at the sprite work, bleh!)
But it is close to my heart because I had a lot of fun making it.

Our assignment was to create a tiny little game in Unity learning C#-scripting.
We were allowed to use ready made art-assets but we had to make our own code, I decided to try out making my own art-assets which was fun but challenging.

It became a very simple game of walking from left to right.
The game also has a very simple door & key system and Health system.

You play as a girl who HATES green apples, something she very firmly tells you through a sign, but likes red apples.
You guide her to walk to the exit while avoiding the green apples.

Knightmare Nights (Prototype)

Game type: Platformer
Production time: 1 Week
(21st Oct - 25th Oct 2024)
Engine: Unity
School Assignment

The prototype I made for the "Rapid Prototyping" assignment that ended up becoming my GP1 project.

This was a VERY quick assignment so it's a lot rougher than I would have liked it to be, but that's more or less to be expected.

You play as a little toy knight that comes to life at night to fight against nightmares coming towards their kid.

The game itself is rather simple, you can walk around, jump, and attack.
The "Ghosts" (I.E. The Nightmares) slowly float towards the kid and can be defeated by swinging your little sword.
If the ghosts manages to reach the kid you'll hear a sad little whimper.

The prototype is very basic, so it does not have a real end state.

3D Art & Environment

Game type: -
Production time: 3 Weeks
(26th Oct - 14th Nov 2025)
Engine: Maya, Unreal Engine 5
School Assignment

These 3D models were made for our 3D Art & Environment assignment.

In this assignment we were told to make assets in Maya(or Blender!), at least one of these assets were supposed to have texture on them and at least one of the assets had to be modular.

The textured assets would be our so called "Hero asset".

In my case I decided to make a toddler's room, with some furnitures and baby related things.

The assets I ended up making were:
* Walls & Floor. (The walls are modular)
* Changing table, Crib, Rug, & Drawer.
* Baby bottle, Binky, & Building blocks (Arch, square, rectangle, & triangle).

My hero piece ended up becoming the Crib.
While I textured all my assets, I put some extra time to make two version of the Crib.
One Crib is a whole complete piece, you can place it down as is.
It's slightly larger than the modular Crib.

The other Crib is modular, you have to build it yourself OR make something completely different from it! (Like a mildly wobbly chair.)

The Corridor game

Game type: (Comedic) Horror
Production time: 5 Weeks
(26th Jan - 27th Feb 2026)
Engine: Unreal Engine 5
School Assignment

This tiny game was made for our Technical Level Design course at Futuregames.

We were told to make a GDD and a small vertical slice for a game.
We were given free reigns on what the game was going to be, so I decided to make a tiny little horror game (with a comedic ending) inspired by PT.

What I mostly wanted to do with this game was to try out making various tiggers and also make use of various blueprints that went unused in my GP4 project (Something's Off).

The art-assets were all (painstakingly) gathered from the FAB-store and the sounds were sourced from Pixabay but slightly tweaked to suit my needs.

The Corridor game consists of 4 Corridors (+ 4 in-between rooms), each corridor is identical with the exception of a single corridor.

The first corridor is just a normal corridor to "set the setting" so to say.
The second corridor consists of things that will start floating or move when near the player.
The third corridor is "The Door Corridor", unlike the other rooms it has only doors in them that trigger either when the player is near them or interact with them.
The fourth corridor seems normal until you walk a few steps into it, in which it will turn red and play slightly stressful music.

The premise of the game is that "you" have found a note in your mailbox telling you to come to a specific location at a specific date, and like any other smart person who decides to ignore the note, you decide to see where the note will take you.
At the end of the game you reach the final door, only to be greeted by a birthday party being set up by a bunch of skeletons.
